PET CT Referral Suppliers

Dear West Coast District Health Board,
I have the following questions please:
1. Which PET CT suppliers do you use for your PET CT referrals?
2. How are the tenders for these referrals accessed and when are they put out to tender?
3. Are any of your PET CT referrals currently under contract with your suppliers and if so when are the contracts up for renewal?
4. Are there any extra costs to the DHB for providing PET CT scans to patients, eg travel costs, accommodation?

We are considering your request for information under the guidelines of
the NZ Ombudsman and against the Official Information Act (1982) section
12(1)a-e) “Right of Access to Certain Official Information” i.e. that the
person requesting the information is:

(d) a body corporate which is incorporated in New Zealand; or
(e) a body corporate which is incorporated outside New Zealand, but which
has a place of business in New Zealand

Can you please provide verification that you fit the above criteria for
requesting Official Information from the CDHB. We do not have the
capacity to respond to overseas Official Information Act requests.
At present all we have for you is the FYI.org.nz email address. Could you
please provide us with:
A residential/business address within NZ and a contact phone number (NZ
landline or mobile ph.)
We have logged your request (WCDHB 9620) however we have put your request
on hold while we await the above verification.
