Kia ora Tess,

 

Thank you for your two requests for official information received on 21
September 2021 for:

 

"Please provide evidence that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine Comirnaty
reduces any serious outcomes and hospital admissions of COVID-19.

Please include only official research from Pfizer or other research that
the government has used in the justification of the use of the Comirnaty
vaccine within New Zealand.”

 

“Please provide the studies or research that show social distancing
reduces the spread of COVID-19?

Please only provide evidence that was used by the government to implement
social distancing.”

 

The Ministry of Health has consolidated these requests with your active
request for official information under reference number: H202112578.

 

As required under the Official Information Act 1982, the Ministry will
endeavour to respond to your request no later than 15 October 2021, being
20 working days after the day your first request was received.
