regarding current cases vaccination or hospitalisation status is withheld
under section 9(2)(a) of the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to
protect the privacy of natural persons.

Dear Ministry of Health,

Since the latest New Zealand lockdown which started on 16th August 2021:

1) How many positive cases have been recorded to date since 16th August
2021, at the time of responding to this request?
2) Of those cases, how many of the patients had received either 1 or 2
shots of the Pfizer vaccine?
