Kia ora requester,
I refer to your official information request dated 13 September re Far Cry 6.
This letter is to advise that it is necessary for us to consult the game distributor before making a decision on your request. This is because some of the information you requested could affect them if disclosed.
Ordinarily we would be required to respond to your request within a maximum 20 working days. However, that timeframe can be extended if the necessary consultations cannot be completed in time. In this case, we need to extend the deadline for our response by two weeks, until October 25. You have the right to complain to the Ombudsman about this extension. Information about how to make a complaint is available at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.
If you want to discuss this, you can contact me.
Yours sincerely
