Dear Ministry of Justice,
I would like to request to know the type and consequences of charges laid against student loan defaulters by IRD. Also whether these charges are sufficient to refuse passport renewal by DIA. And I would also like to know if this would be in breach of freedom of movement (Bill of Rights)given it has the possibility to leave NZ citizens as illegal immigrants or stateless people wherever they may be when refused renewal.
