The request was refused by Ministry of Social Development.

From: cd jenkins

Dear Ministry of Social Development,

Paula Bennet announced this week that 21000 beneficiaries have had overseas ''holidays'' . I would like to know the figures regarding what catagory of benefit these people were receiving. Were superannuitants included in these figures?

Yours faithfully,

C.D Jenkins

Dear Ceri

Thank you for your email received 7 April 2014, under the Official
Information Act 1982, requesting:

·         Which benefit categories did the 21,000 beneficiaries fall into
who had their benefit suspended because they travelled overseas without
permission?

·         Were superannuitants included in these figures?

Your request for the benefit categories which the 21,000 beneficiaries
fell into is refused under section 18(d) of the Act on the basis that this
information will soon be publicly available through the Parliament website
