Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

Good morning
Just wondering, you see, I am working in New Zealand with my Post Study Open Visa at the moment. This company is an international corporation registered in New Zealand. They have a lot of projects that is not in New Zealand.

My first question: I just wonder whether I can work for other project that is not in New Zealand but ,for example, in Australia. You know, it is hard to find a job in New Zealand now. In this case, even I am not in New Zealand and work in another country , my income tax will be given to New Zealand, I am still one of the employee of New Zealand company.

Another question: If I can work in another country but contribute Income Tax to New Zealand, that may impact my residence visa application or not?

I need some official information related to this situation. Thanks a lot.

You will need to contact Inland Revenue to discuss your options.

Unfortunately, No as the work needs to be in New Zealand.
