Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
I would like to request the following information regarding resident class visa applications:
1) Number of ON-SHORE non-priority resident class visa applications accepted (on-hand) to date discriminated in Skilled Migrant Category, Talent (Accredited Employer) Resident Visa and Others.
2) Monthly list with number of ON-SHORE non-priority resident class visa applications lodged between December 2020 to date discriminated in Skilled Migrant Category, Talent (Accredited Employer) Resident Visa and Others, listed per month.
3) Monthly list with number of ON-SHORE resident visa class applications, discriminated in priority and non-priority, allocated to a Case officer between December 2020 to date.
4) Average processing times for Talent (Accredited Employer) Resident Visas after the new prioritization criteria came into effect on February 24th 2020.
5) A comprehensive and detailed description of the internal procedures starting from receiving the application to assessing it and to finalizing with a decision by Internal staff and Officers to process Talent (Accredited Employer) Resident Visa.

under the Official Information Act 1982 (the OIA).
Before we proceed with your request, under Section 12 of The OIA, requests
can only be made by;
Any person, being-
(a) a New Zealand citizen; or
(b) a permanent resident of New Zealand; or
(c) a person who is in New Zealand; or
(d) a body corporate which is incorporated in New Zealand; or
(e) a body corporate which is incorporated outside of new Zealand but
which has a place of business in New Zealand,
may request a department or Minister of the Crown or organisation to make
available to him or it any specified official information.
From the limited information you have provided in your request it is
unclear that you are eligible to make an OIA request.
Therefore, before we can proceed with your request you will need to
provide evidence that you are eligible to make a request. Proof of
eligibility can be provided confidentially to me via email which is shown
in the attached file.
Please provide a response with evidence by Monday 28 June 2021. If no
response is received by this date, your request will be closed and
considered withdrawn on the basis that you are not eligible to make a
request under section 12 of the OIA.
