Dear Ministerial Services,

your reply doesn't satisfy my request, considering these officers interacted with me, refused to give their name, now you're saying their identification is secret to keep them safe?

they interacted with me, therefor their name and rank is required

Yours sincerely,

darren-edward

Good morning Darren,

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Official Information Act 1982, to ask the Ombudsman to review the decision if you are not satisfied with the way Police have responded to your request.

You can contact the Office of the Ombudsman here: [email address]

When you are complaining to the Ombudsman, I'd point out that in a previous request Police did give you the name of the officer.
