Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

This is a request for documents relating to DIA’s Countering Violent Extremism programme and Digital Violent Extremism team. I request:

ONE: A copy of the CVE work programme

TWO: Copies of all reports-back to the Minister of Internal Affairs on progress implementing the CVE work programme, dated since the programme's inception

THREE: The 2020 briefing to the incoming Minister for Internal Affairs referenced a “longer-term strategy for preventing violent extremism online that we will brief you on shortly.”

I request copies of both the strategy and briefing referenced here.

FOUR: A copy of the DVE team business plan, operating strategy and operating model

FIVE: A copy of the New Zealand Online Crisis Response Process
