Kia ora StatsNZ,
As you will be aware, the Environmental Reporting Act 2015 requires Ministers to jointly present both domain and synthesis reports to the House of Representatives as soon as possible once published.
Please provide the dates that each domain or synthesis report was presented to the House of Representatives, since the ERA was enacted.
Kind regards,
Arthur Rottman

Kia ora,
Thank you for the response.
That is extremely disappointing to learn that your legal obligations to present reports to parliament has not been fulfilled. This is the primary mechanism which allows the Government to be held accountable for issues identified in the reports, and for opposition parties to ask questions of responsible ministers.
Please keep me informed when you have 'determine why the other reports have not been presented to the House'.
Yours sincerely,
Arthur Rottman

Mōrena Arthur,
An update on this situation: the Minister for the Environment's office presented the remaining ERA reports to the House on Monday, 24 May.
The Ministry for the Environment are also reviewing the related processes at their next governance meeting to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Ngā mihi,
Kelsey
