Virginia Crawford made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
The request was successful.
From: Virginia Crawford
Dear Ministry of Health,
Could you please provide a (clickable) link to the CARM database, relating to reported adverse side effects experienced as a result of being injected with Cominarty?
I don't mean a link to REPORT a side effect, only to PERUSE reported side effects.
I have been looking for this, but without success. Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Virginia Crawford

The Ministry of Health, in their response to this OIA have provided a link to a report. I cannot see any link to view the actual database in the provided link, which is what was requested by Virginia Crawford.

I just clicked on the link provided ( https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/saf... ) and the last entry was for up untill the 6th of March. It is now the 5th of May. Where are the reports for the last two months? It appears to me like something is being hidden.

c a, many websites publish information across more than one page, generally putting those pages in the same section of the website. Often, it is possible to navigate up to the index page for a parent section by using a webpage component commonly referred to as "breadcrumbs", which often appear near the top of the page's content.
You can see the breadcrumbs just beneath the header navigation on the Medsafe website. It includes a link to the "Overview of Vaccine Reports" page, which is the parent page for the report page(s) you have viewed (I'm not sure if you added two annotations to correct a typo in the first one or if it was for some other reason): https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/vac...
This index page contains a list of links to several of these reports, the most recent of which when I am writing this annotation was published on May 5 and includes information up to April 3: https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/saf...
Medsafe appears to be continuing to publish more information here as it becomes available to them, with a lag of about a month.

Mark Hanna, Yes i did post a second annotation as I realised the link in the request above was outdated.
A month lag is still quite a lot considering how important this information is to people who want to give informed consent. This is even more apparent tonight with this news story: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/4421....

I tried in vain to peruse the adverse reactions to Covid 19 vaccines page. From previous requests by others a link was given but it always comes up as an error on the page.Is there a direct link to the CARMS data base for this or perhaps any information anywhere else?
Virginia Crawford left an annotation ()
The link is https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/vac...
However at the moment it's offline, as is the whole of the Medsafe website. Perhaps undergoing maintenance?

Thanks to Virginia Crawford for raising the question of the CARMS database. I tried in vain to peruse the adverse reactions to Covid 19 vaccines page. From previous requests by Virginia, a link was given but it always comes up as an error on the page.Is there a direct link to the CARMS database for this or perhaps any information anywhere else regarding the adverse reactions to the Covid 19 vaccine in NZ?

I'm sure I have seen more recent details on the CARM register. Definitely since may, and I m sure it would have been late July/August but now I can't find anyway to see it again. And it was updated weekly. It included at least 5 deaths which had notes underneath referring to the deaths. I'm not tech savvy at all but it wasn't difficult to find at the time.

Ok, so found more recent details. On the medsafe site type in adverse reaction covid into search bar at top. You can scroll down to find weekly summaries. Today's shows up to end of August. I think somewhere there too, is a list of reported effects, ranging from mild to serious including deaths.
Things to do with this request
- Add an annotation (to help the requester or others)
- Download a zip file of all correspondence

I have been able to find the database, but in the vaccines section, there is no entry for a Covid vaccine(s). Could you please correct this?
