Dear Blaize,

We have received your official information request for copies of Tourism New Zealand video ads broadcast on television or placed on Facebook/Google/YouTube in the United States and Canada and the costs associated with this advertising since 2010.

Your request will include a large volume of information, are you able to narrow down your request or tell me the specific information that you are interested in? Once I have a better idea of your interest, we can tailor the search accordingly.

Yours sincerely,

Angela Gore

Hi,

Would it be better if I change it to from January 2015?

Yours sincerely,

Hi again,

Thanks for the reply.

From 2015 would help but Facebook ads alone might total over 1000 pieces of content as all our advertising on that platform is targeted. If you could let me know if there's a specific topic or location that you're interested in, that would help us narrowing down the information further.

If you're undertaking a research project, I'm happy to arrange a meeting with one of our in-market staff if that would be useful.

Let me know,

Angela

Hi,

Wow that’s a lot of ads! I’m mainly looking for ones that are about New Zealand’s environment, sustainability and the whole Clean Green New Zealand Idea, as well as any that focus on Maori Culture.

Thanks,

Blaize McCabe

Thanks Blaize.

We will search all content from 2015 and come back to you. As this will require a reasonable amount of time to collate, we will have a response to you by 3 March 2021, if not sooner.

Kind regards,

Angela
