Tree Felling in Rangiora

Rangi Faith made this Official Information request to Canterbury Regional Council

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Rangi Faith to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Rangi Faith

Dear Canterbury Regional Council,
I am writing to you to request reasons why pine and poplar trees have been felled in the area between River Road and the Ashley/Rakahuri River. It is a small block in Rangiora that is used daily by walkers and cyclists, and there has been widespread confusion and dismay over why the trees have been felled. A number of reasons have been suggested. Even our mayor has admitted no knowledge of the felling. Hoping for a favourable reply.

Yours faithfully,
(Mr) Rangi Faith
