Good afternoon

Your formal OIA request has been received by Radio New Zealand. Under the Official Information Act 1982, we have 20 working days in which to respond to you and I expect we will have our reply posted/emailed to your address within that time. If for some reason, such as leave commitments or sickness, we are unable to respond to you within 20 working days, there is a further provision for an extension of time and I will write to you again if it becomes necessary to extend the time taken.

Dear Maggie Hedge,

I have been advised via the FYI WEB page my OIA request as summarised below was refused. There appears to be no reasons provided and no reference to the provision of the OIA used to decline all my information.

You did provide a link to various papers and documents. My request did NOT seek any specific documents only a summary of meeting dates and attendees etc.

Please urgently review your actions in this matter and either provide the information sought or the reasons for refusal. I note again the material sought is NOT provided within your WEB page.

I must advise now that if I have not received a substantive response by Friday 20/3/2020 CB I will make a formal complaint to the office of the ombudsman.

Thank you
E. LINNEY

Hello Ted, many thanks for your message. I am writing to say that sadly I am only the collator on the OIA desk and the balance of the responses for the OIA's is due back shortly. The responses that were sent out were mostly generic in nature to cover the numerous questions that were generic in content . More detailed responses are to be sent shortly to respond to matters which are outside of the generic framework.

Kind regards
Inquiries Coordinator

Dear Maggie Hedge,

I am advised by the Admin System at FYI that my OIA request is now long overdue. You will be aware that I was prepared to allow latitude due to the very large number of requests you needed to process and also more recently the Covid 19 lock-downs. I would appreciate advice as to when you expect to make a full and substantive response in relation to my requested information please

Yours sincerely,

E LINNEY
