Dear Jacinda Ardern,

I am a nearly 30 year mother of one, wife and full time administrator. Why can I not buy a house?
I have $25,000 in my kiwisaver, and the new rules of minimum 5% deposit is a fantastic whay to help everyday New Zelanders, BUT why is the regional house price caps so low?!
The average house price in Napier / Hastings has risen to $505,000 but to qualify for the HNZ grant anf first Home Loan we can only spend $400,000.... How is that supposed to work? I think the First Home policy needs to be updated urgently!
