Good Morning Mr Hosie

On 27 July 2019 you requested the following information from Police:

“Could I please have a copy of the 111 call made on the 27/07/2019 at
after 7pm from number 022 348 6957 and the follow up call made back to
that number. I would also like to know the ping location at the time of
the 111 call (closest GPS location)”

Police do not have a copy of the 111 call you made as the call ended while
the call was still with the SPARK 111 operator. We do have a copy of the
call the Spark Operator made to Police advising they had received your
call.  That call is attached to this email. (0223486957 Inbound Call.wav)

Also attached to this email is a copy of the call Police made to you to
check everything was OK. (0223486957 callback.wav)

The emergency caller location information at the time you made the call
indicated the cell phone was at or near LL(174:50:39.3252,-41:05:51.5147):
EST within 56 metres of  7 SHELLEY ST,TITAHI BAY,PORIRUA CITY

If you are not satisfied with my response to your request, you have a
right under section 28(3) of the Official Information Act 1982 to ask the
Office of the Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review of my
decision.

Yours sincerely,

Inspector Michael Coulter
