Hello David,

On behalf of the Hon Paula Bennett, thank you for your email of 13 August
2013, under the Official Information Act 1982, requesting copies of ‘all
correspondence (emails, ministerial correspondence, meeting requests)
within, and out of your office (i.e yourself, advisors, private
secretaries and support staff) related to Government Communications
Security Bureau and Related Legislation Amendment Bill.”

Firstly, let me apologise for the delay in responding to your request,
unfortunately your request was misplaced due to an administrative error in
our systems.  We have now tracked your original correspondence, and can
provide you with a response.

We are unable to provide you with the information you have requested as
there has been no correspondence (emails, ministerial correspondence,
meeting requests) within, in and out of the Minister’s office, in scope of
your request.  As such, this request is refused under section 18 (e) of
the Official Information Act, as the information does not exist.

I apologies again for the delay in responding to your request.

I am sorry that on this occasion I have not been able to provide you with
any information.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review of my response by
the Ombudsman whose address for contact purposes is:

The Ombudsman

Office of the Ombudsman

Dear Fau Logo,

No problem on the lateness - i understand that staff in the minister's office have more important stuff to do (like running this country), and i appreciate that you took the time to look for the information and come back to me.

i have noted that the information requested does not exist, and will not contact the Ombudsman regarding this OIA request.

Cheers

david
