Please find Horizons Regional Council’s response to your request for
information:

 

1)      Can the Horizon Regional Council (HRC) please provide a copy of
the contract used to engage the contractor to produce the "The Palmerston
North-Wellington Rail Passenger Business Case" ?

 

A copy of the contract is attached.

2) Can the HRC please provide a copy of all requests for information from
the HRC to the contractor between October 2017 and April 2019 related to
"The Palmerston North-Wellington Rail Passenger Business Case" and the
contractor responses to these requests ?

If the requested information is held in electronic form, it is preferred
that the information is provided in its complete and original electronic
format.

                Horizons Regional Council does not hold any requests for
information from the contractor between October 2017 and April 2019
related to "The Palmerston North-Wellington Rail Passenger Business Case”.

This is a follow-up request to an earlier request for the "The Palmerston
North-Wellington Rail Passenger Business Case"

1) Can the Horizon Regional Council (HRC) please provide a copy of the

Hi Tony - I do think we have interpreted it the way you intended. We HRC did not request any information from the Contractor between the period specified.

Firstly thank you for the prompt response to this information request.

Secondly, I think HRC has misread the second element of my request.

I requested:
2) Can the HRC please provide a copy of all requests for information from the HRC to the contractor between October 2017 and April 2019 related to "The Palmerston North-Wellington Rail Passenger Business Case" and the contractor responses to these requests ?

but the HRC response is:
Horizons Regional Council does not hold any requests for information from the contractor between October 2017 and April 2019 related to "The Palmerston North-Wellington Rail Passenger Business Case”.

I have to highlight my request 2) asks for "all requests for information FROM the HRC TO the contractor" and any responses, not "requests for information from the contractor" to the HRC.

I hope this clarifies the second element of this request.
