Dear minadviceteam,
You have not provided the requested information under the Act:
"I am withholding the documents that are held by the Department provided by Meta in relation to
guidelines. These are withheld in full under section 9(2)(ba)(i) to protect information which
is subject to an obligation of confidence or which any person has been or could be
compelled to provide under the authority of any enactment, where the making available of
the information would be likely to prejudice the supply of similar information, or information
from the same source, and it is in the public interest that such information should continue
to be supplied. "
The suggestion to ask Meta is unhelpful. Meta registered in CA, USA and is not subject to the NZ OIA , however the DIA is.
Kindly share the requested information within the required statutory timeframe before I consider lodging a complaint with the Ombudsman.
Yours sincerely,
Erika Whittome
