On 25 September 2023, we emailed you seeking to clarify the visa category
you were referring to in your request. On the same date, you confirmed
that you were referring to the Partner of a New Zealander Resident Visa
category.

 

We now require further clarification regarding Question 1.

 

Are you requiring information regarding the submission date of the
applications that are currently being allocated for assessment or
information regarding the allocation timeframe (ie how long are
applications waiting before they are allocated to an officer for
assessment)?

Please respond to this clarification request by end of day today, 19
October 2023. If we do not receive a response by this date we will proceed
with our interpretation of the request.

As at 19 October 2023, the most recent Partner of an Expatriate Resident Visa paper based application allocated to an immigration officer for assessment was submitted on 30 June 2023, and the most recent Partner of a New Zealand Citizen or Resident Visa paper based application allocated to an immigration officer for assessment was submitted on 16 June 2023.

As at 19 October 2023, the most recent Partner of an Expatriate Resident Visa online based application allocated to an immigration officer for assessment was submitted on 5 July 2023, and the most recent Partner of a New Zealand Citizen or Resident Visa online based application allocated to an immigration officer for assessment was submitted on 3 July 2023.
