Dear Eliana Darroch

On you 7 February 2019 emailed the Ministry requesting, under the Official
Information Act 1982, the following information:

·         Please provide a statistical breakdown of people who are no
longer reciving a benefit from MSD due to them commiting suicide.

 

·         Please give the benefit they were reciving and locale and
demographic.

 

We have transferred your request to the Ministry of Justice. The
information to which your request relates is believed to be more closely
connected with the functions of the Ministry of Justice, specifically the
Office of the Chief Coroner. In these circumstances, we are required by
section 14 of the OIA to transfer your request.

 

You will hear further from the Ministry of Justice concerning your
request.
