On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 10 January 2018 requesting under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

 

·        Can you please provide access to all training materials provided
to Business Migration Team staff members within Immigration New Zealand
with specific reference to how they are trained to assess Investor
residence visa and Investor residence (Post AIP- transfer of fund) visa
applications. In particular, how the document related to assess transfer
of fund from China.

 

·        Any documents that assist the Business Migration Team staff
members in assessing applications would also be appreciated, for example
relevant VisaPak's or directions from management.

 

Please note that the days from 25 December 2018 to 15 January 2019
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the
time period for responding to your request.

 

Your request is being processed in accordance with the Act and a response

Immigration New Zealand is preparing the response to your Official
Information Act request summarised below. 

 

Can you please provide access to all training materials provided to

We seek clarification on the point I have highlighted in yellow above. 
There are multiple interpretations of the request for “directions from
management”.  In light of this ambiguity can you please clarify the
information you are seeking so we can provide an appropriate response.
