·        Can you please advise to how many citizens of the Dominican
Republic per annum a residence visa was granted from the earliest year for
which records are easily available onwards.

 

Please note that the days from 25 December 2018 to 15 January 2019
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the
time period for responding to your request.

The information you have requested is publically available on the
Immigration New Zealand website.  You can find the information you are
looking for by following the instructions below.
 
1. Click on this link -

2. Open the report titled R1 - Resident decisions by financial year
3. Select the tab titled Nationality – people (alpha)
 
You will find this tab shows the number of people from the Dominican
republic who have been granted residence each year from July 2008.
