Dear Privacy Commissioner,
I recently read an article published in the media, and on your website I believe, regarding an initiative about a 'Privacy Mark logo' and a competition you were holding to identify an appropriate logo. The article featured comment from Commissioner John Edwards about a competition he was having to find a 'Privacy Mark logo'.
This information included text and images relating to the infamous "Laser Kiwi" flag design, and an image of Commissioner John Edwards with green lines intended to represent laser beams coming our of his eyes.
All reference to this rather ill advised venture seem to have been quietly removed from the internet recently. I know I did not imagine this as others confirm seeing it too, and like me were rather shocked at the implications of the whole idea and the manner it was being communicated by Mr Edwards.
Please provide all information including text and images, electronic or otherwise, regarding this published information regarding the Privacy Commissioner and his 'laser eyes'.
