I would like to know how people get selected to attend 2018's Parliamentary Chinese New Year Celebrations host by Hon Jenny Salesa- Minister for Ethnic Communities. I saw many people post their invitation online and I wonder how these people get selected, what is the requirements?

Also, I would like to know can us(general public) apply to attend/express our interest or your department just select people from your exclusive pool.
