MPI Manuka Honey Science Program

1) Please explain the science process that led to the decision that 3-phenyllactic acid levels in manuka honey can be used to separate monofloral from multifloral honey (showing in Table A of Your science document) At what levels of the marker does this occur?

Show me all the data (used and unused) and the rational for the conclusion to include this as a chemical marker providing , full disclosure of the discussion, emails, meeting notes and peronal file notes and final decision making process

2) Please explain the science process that led to the decision that 2-methoxybenzoic acid levels in manuka honey can be used to separate monofloral from multifloral honey.
(showing in Table A of Your science document) At what levels of the marker does this occur?

Show me all the data (used and unused) and the rational for the conclusion to include this as a chemical marker providing , full disclosure of the discussion, emails, meeting notes and peronal file notes and final decision making process

3) Please explain the science process that led to the decision that 4-hydroxphenyllactic acid levels in manuka honey can be used to separate monofloral from multifloral honey.
(showing in Table A of Your science document) At what levels of the marker does this occur?

Show me all the data (used and unused) and the rational for the conclusion to include these chemicals as a final chemical marker to distinguish Manuka Honey from other honeys providing , full disclosure of the discussion, emails, meeting notes and peronal file notes and final decision making process
