Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ministry for Primary Industries should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

We have understand that a solution to the diymo problem in the South Island rivers has been found and and this solution has been tested and proven to be 100% effective by Niwa.
This solution is currently being sold to Universities, Salmon farmers andd fishing guides.
Is the MPI aware of this and can you please provide any further information.
