Advice on New Zealand's refugee quota September 2016

M Stephens made this Official Information request to Minister of Immigration

The request was partially successful.

From: M Stephens

Dear Minister of Immigration,

I would like to request under the Official Information Act:

* all departmental advice to the Minister of Immigration between
June 13, 2015 and September 22, 2016 on New Zealand’s Refugee
Resettlement Quota.

If any documents that fall within the scope of my request are to be
withheld in full then I would like the titles and dates of those
documents to be released. I would also prefer that if my request is
expansive enough to trigger a s18(f) refusal that I can be provided
with the titles/dates of the relevant documents so that I can focus
my request forwards particular documents.

Yours faithfully,

M Stephens

Dear M Woodhouse,

Thank you for you reply. To clarify, was there any advice between 14 June, 2016 and 12 July, 2016 (inclusive) on New Zealand's refugee resettlement quota.

Your reply notes that there was none between 12 July and September 22, 2016 but there is no indication whether any other advice was produced between the time when the decision was made in cabinet on June 13 and this later time on 12 July.

Yours sincerely,

M Stephens
