Explanation of rejection
Peter McCall made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
The request was successful.
From: Peter McCall
Dear Ministry of Health,
I am following up a response I received to a request made on October 17, 2015 - reference: H20150 4928.
Michael Hundleby rejected the request for a copy of the particular contract, citing s 9(2)(i) of the Official Information Act 1982.
Would the Ministry be able to explain in what way releasing the contract would 'prejudice or disadvantage' commercial activities?
I would note that my initial request specified that no dollar values need be included - and that a similar request made to the NZTA was successful and a redacted version of a similarly tendered contract was made available.
Yours faithfully,
Peter McCall
Ministry of Health

anticipated to pull the response together but we will send a response as
soon as practicable. Unfortunately I can't give a specific date but I
expect it to be approximately next week.
Kind regards,
