Could you please provide the percentage of treatment injury claims made out of all claims submitted for all periods commencing 2005 up to 2015 and broken down into the following approved treatment providers:

- counsellors

- medical laboratory technologists
- medical practitioners.
- nurses
- nurse practitioners
- occupational therapists
- optometrists
- osteopaths
- physiotherapists

information under the Official Information Act 1982:

 

The percentage of treatment injury claims made out of all claims submitted
for all periods commencing 2005 up to 2015 and broken down into the
following approved treatment providers:

-              medical laboratory technologists

-              medical practitioners

Very disappointing that ACC waited until the last possible hour only to say the information doesn't exist in the exact format requested, but does exist in a slightly different format. Rather than a separate request under the OIA, all that seems to be required here is clarification.

My understanding of the OIA says that ACC should have requested this clarification within 7 working days of the original request, in line with section 15(1AB)(b). If my understanding is correct, then because they did not do this ACC should not be legally entitled to a an additional 20 working days in responding to this request once it has been clarified that the data should be provided in the format they have said is available.
