Dear Ministry of Health,
On 15 July 2021, there was an announcement of Mandatory vaccination for border workers which is here:
https://web.archive.org/web/202107302144...
It says:
"If a border worker does not get vaccinated
--------------------------------------------------------
Border workers who remain unvaccinated after the requirements come into effect will need to discuss options with their employer. They will not be able to continue working in a border environment until they vaccinated."
1. Would you please share the legislation in place at this time that removed the border workers' right to work until they were vaccinated?
2 Would you please share all the letters, correspondence, ministerial briefings, etc that led to this 15 July 2021 announcement, especially any considerations on the Bill of Rights s11 and the right to work?
Yours faithfully,
Erika Whittome
