Under the Official Information Act 1982, I request the following information relating to the Social Investment Fund Ministerial Group’s June 2025 decision on priority cohorts, including the decision document titled “Social Investment Fund: Setting priority outcomes and cohorts of interest” (or any equivalent or associated decision documents).
If any part of this request is more appropriately handled by another agency (such as the Social Investment Agency), please transfer it in accordance with section 14 of the Act.
1. Decision-making material
Please provide any briefings, advice, Cabinet papers, aide-memoires, or other formal decision-making documents that informed or supported the Ministerial Group’s June 2025 decision on priority cohorts, including any material specifically relating to the consideration and non-selection of children with ADHD or FASD.
2. Criteria and assessment framework
Please provide any documents that set out:
-the criteria used to assess and prioritise cohorts
-how those criteria were applied in practice
-any weighting, scoring, or comparative framework used to assess cohorts
3. Comparative assessment and rationale
Please provide any documents that record how children with ADHD or FASD were assessed against the prioritisation criteria, including:
-any analysis of expected outcomes, benefits, or investment impact
-any identified risks, limitations, or constraints
-any comparison with cohorts that were selected
-any recorded rationale for not progressing this cohort as a priority
4. Records of decisions
Please provide any records of discussions or decisions made by the Ministerial Group relating to cohort selection, including minutes, notes, or summaries, where ADHD or FASD was considered.
If any part of this request is refused under the Act, please specify the relevant section and provide any reasonably available information in part.
