From: Rev. Hamish Kirk

Dear New Zealand Defence Force,
Request Background
All Army Chaplains are commissioned into the Royal New Zealand Chaplains Department (RNZChD). Most Army Chaplains are financial members of the RNZChD Corps Fund- a Non-Public Fund within the NZDF.
About 15 years ago, an exiting Chaplain generously donated prints of the various camps and base chapels to the RNZChD Corps Fund to present to financial members of the fund upon leaving the RNZChD. A motion was agreed to accepting this gift and agreeing for the fund to pay for a framed print of a chapel of the leaving Chaplain’s choice.

Request
1. How many Chaplains have left the RNZChD Corps Fund in each year from 2010 until 2025 inclusive?
2. How many chapel prints were gifted to exiting RNZChD Corps Fund chaplains each year from 2010 to 2025 inclusive?
3. In any particular year where a chaplain had left the RNZChD Corps Fund but did not received their chapel print, What was the year? Who was the Principal Chaplain Army for that year?
4. I request a copy of the RNZChD Corps Fund constitution.
5. I request a copy of the motion concerning the chapel prints.
6. I request a copy of the last audit into the RNZChD Corps Fund.
7. When is the RNZChD Corps Fund next due an audit?

Yours faithfully,

Rev. Hamish Kirk
