Dear Ministry for Culture and Heritage,
Thank you for your recent reply- DOIA26 004
"Instead, candidates were selected from several sources, including the Ministry for Culture and Heritage nominations register, which comprises members of the public who have expressed interest in Crown board roles, individuals considered suitable from previous nominations, and nominations from caucus and coalition party colleagues. For these appointments, the Ministry received nominations from the following sources"
Could you please advise how many people are currently listed on the Ministry for Culture and Heritage nominations register?
Do you collect additional information for the register, such as gender, ethnicity, or other demographic details? If so, please provide a percentage breakdown (for example, how many are male, how many are female, etc.).
Please also explain how candidates are selected from the register. Is selection based on a review of CVs, or is any form of automated system used?
Finally, when you refer to “individuals considered suitable from previous nominations,” please clarify what criteria or process was used, and how far back these previous nominations extend.
Yours faithfully,
john luke
