Dear New Zealand Defence Force,

 

A 757 plane flew from the RNZAF base in Auckland to Wellington, then to
Christchurch, and then from Christchurch to Central Otago where it flew
over the Wanaka Airport, and the township of Tarras, and then flew back to
Christchurch, then Wellington and then Auckland, on 1 October 2025.

 

Please confirm ;

 

1. the purpose of the flight from Christchurch to Central Otago, 2. who
requested this flight and why, 3. any correspondence with people outside
the NZDF regarding this flight, 4. who the passengers were, and 5. the
approximate cost of flying from Wellington to CHC return for the crew and
plane, and from CHC to Central Otago and back to CHC similarly.
