Further detail of activities undertaken by participants in Military-Style Academy trial programme
Riley Parnwell made this Official Information request to Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Riley Parnwell to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Riley Parnwell
Dear Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children,
I write regarding the residential stage of the trial Military-Style Academy programme. Appendix One of the preliminary evaluation of the residential stage, produced by Malatest International (now Tiria), provides an example of what a "typical day" will look like in the trial programme. The evaluation report does not provide, nor has Oranga Tamariki provided, much greater detail on the specific activities undertaken by the rangatahi or their frequency.
Under the Official Information Act 1982, I request:
(1) A description of the morning routine rangatahi performed.
(2) All daily schedules for the participants in the residential stage of the Military-Style Academy trial programme. To the extent they exist, I request: (a) draft schedules; and (b) schedules actually used. I do not request any records, schedules or timetables relating to kaimahi.
(3) A list which describes all physical activities the rangatahi were required to perform, including how frequently they were performed.
(4) A list of all cultural connection activities the rangatahi undertook, including how frequently they were performed.
(5) The number of occassions a guest speaker spoke to the rangatahi, as well as the number of guest speakers who spoke to the rangatahi.
(6) A list describing the wellness activities the rangatahi performed.
(7) A description of the evening routine rangatahi performed.
I am grateful in advance for your assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Riley Parnwell
