From: clare

Dear University of Otago,

I’m an HSFY (2025) student planning to apply for the BDS programme commencing February 2026. Could you please advise:
(1) the precise HSFY cut-off grade/average and if there is a guaranteed entry grade/average used for the 2026 February intake (please indicate if this differs for domestic vs international applicants);
(2) the average grades (lowest and highest) for successful applicants in alternative categories (between 2022–2024);
(3) for each year 2022–2024, approximately how many applicants received conditional offers for interview and what their average HSFY grades were (including the lowest average among those invited); and
(4) for each year 2022–2024, how many interviewees subsequently passed the interview and received an offer letter.

Yours faithfully,

Clare
