I am writing to make a formal request under the Official Information Act 1982. I am seeking information on the minimum and mean GPA or score of successful applicants to various health professional programmes at the University of Otago, for the most recent admissions cycle (2025 entrants), or the latest available year.

Specifically, I would appreciate the minimum and mean weighted GPA or score (as applicable to the entrance pathway, e.g., Postgraduate Medicine weighted GPA or HSFY Medicine score) for successful applicants to the following programmes:

Medicine
Dentistry
Physiotherapy
Dental Technology
Medical Laboratory Science
Oral Health
Pharmacy
Radiation Therapy
For each of these programmes, I would like the data to be disaggregated by the following admission categories:
Health Sciences First Year (HSFY)
Graduate/Postgraduate
And within each of these categories, further broken down by the following subcategories (where applicable):
Māori
NZRIPO (New Zealand Residents of Indigenous Pacific Origins)
Socioeconomic Equity
Refugee Background
New Zealand Rural Origins
If available, I would also appreciate information on applicants who were admitted under Single Programme Preference conditions for each programme.
I understand that a similar request was fulfilled for 2024 entrants, and I am requesting the same data for the 2025 admission cycle.
