Dear John,

I refer to your request of 28 July 2025 for official information in
relation to the Sustainable Development Goals Summit co-hosted by the
University of Auckland and the Auckland University of Technology in
September 2019. In preparing for the summit, a steering group representing
the host universities was established - the members of the steering group
are published on the summit website at [1]https://www.sdgsummit2019.org/:

o Lesley Stone, Manager of Sustainability & Env, University of Auckland
o Thomas Neitzert, Chair of the Vice-Chancellor’s taskforce for
sustainability, AUT
o Lindsey du Preez, Sustainability Advisor, AUT
o Alison Sykora, Head of Communications, AUT
o Amy Malcolm, Manager, Strategic Relations in the Office of the
Vice-Chancellor, University of Auckland
o Gillian Lewis, Associate Dean Sustainability, Faculty of Science,
Professor of Microbiology at the School of Biological Sciences and

All the members of the 2019 Steering Group who were from the University of
Auckland are no longer engaged by the University. It will unfortunately
not be possible to provide the requested information without substantial
collation or research. Your request is refused under section 18(f) of the
OIA. You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.

Yours sincerely,
