Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I am writing to request immigration data under the Official Information Act 1982.

Specifically, we are seeking monthly data on offshore-lodged student visa applications (both fee-paying and pathway categories) from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2025.
We would appreciate if the data could be broken down by:

*Month of application outcome, and

*Applicant’s passport country, limited to Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

For each country, please provide:

*Number of applications approved

*Number of applications declined

*Number of applications withdrew

Specifically, we are seeking monthly data on offshore-lodged student visa

30 June 2025.
We would appreciate if the data could be broken down by:

*Month of application outcome, and

*Applicant’s passport country, limited to Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

For each country, please provide:

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 13/08/2025, being 20 working days after the day your request
was received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will
notify you of an extension of that timeframe. If you have any enquiries
