Information for students applying under the graduate (rural) category for medicine
Ambers Dean made this Official Information request to University of Otago
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Ambers Dean to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Ambers Dean
Dear University of Otago,
We are a group of graduate students looking to apply into medicine this year, and we were wondering if you could provide some information on the following questions:
1. We were curious if the university priotises R3 areas over R1 in the rural category?
2. Could you confirm if a five year attendance at Pembroke School, Oamaru (Harlech Street, Oamaru), is eligible under the rural category in 2024/2025.
3. If we are not eligible under the rural category, do we find out a fews days after we have submitted the application?
Yours faithfully,
D A
