Dear Department of Corrections,

I would like to request an updated list of prisoner minimum property entitlements or/and property policy appendix of the Department of Corrections' Authorised Property Rules. I would like a list provided of what can be provided by family, and separately, what can be provided by the prison internal system.

As anyone is aware in this day and age it is very rear to find electronic items meeting the criteria the Department of Corrections requires. I find the restrictions very pressuring on families spending thousands of dollars on basic second hand compact radios, because this is all that is “acceptable” by Corrections.

I would like to also know when was the last time the Department of Corrections property policies were updates and investigated. The policy really needs to be looked into!
