Te Tira Ahupae funding

From: Marcus Robbins

Dear Massey University,

I recently heard the news that the University has decided not to fund Te Tira Ahupae, the Massey Students Association, from 2025.
This was reported by Massive Magazine, and students were informed of this by email.

1. I am requesting all information and correspondence you have going back 6 months that has informed the decision not to fund the association from 2025.
2. This should capture the following people at the University in correspondence:
- The Vice-Chancellor
- University Council
- Members of the Student Leadership team
- Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students and Global Engagement

I understand that the University has decided to provide the services in lieu of funding the students' association from 2025. I want to understand what if any conversations have been had with the "operational" side of the student association, who was communicated with.

3. If there is any correspondence between the University and the General Manager from the Student association in the last 6 months about the provision of future services by the University in 2025
4. If there is any correspondence between the University and the General Manager from the Student association in the last 6 months about the risk of the association not being funded in 2025.
3. If the discussions were had with a past employee of the Students Association in the past 6 months, who the student association had employed but no longer works for the association that information should also be included. (they should be covered by points 3 and 4).

If any part of my request is unclear, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Yours faithfully,

Marcus Robbins
