Dear Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children,
Following Darrin Haimona’s recent comments regarding providers underspending allocated funding, could Oranga Tamariki please provide the following for each of its providers:
- Funding allocated per year for the previous five financial years
- Whether this funding has been allocated in full
- Whether this funding has been allocated to the providers on the date agreed by OT
- Whether OT has failed to hand over funds to its providers in a timely manner, or at an agreed date, or at the date expected by providers
- Whether Oranga Tamariki is currently holding funding which has been allocated to providers, but not yet been transferred to those providers. If so, what is the dollar value of this
- All correspondence between OT and its providers regarding the impacts of funding cuts
- All correspondence between OT and its providers regarding funds which providers are expecting, unpaid by OT
