Camping ground licences

Could you kindly provide a list of all camping grounds which Council has issued a camping ground licence in the past 3 years in accordance with the Camping Ground Regulations 1985.

Please include relevant addresses for each camping ground and identify if any camping grounds are operated by Council or subject to a lease with Council.

As per my initial request, could you kindly also indicate which campgrounds are owned and operated by Council, or which are leased by Council to a private operator?

Good morning Tim,

All of the camping grounds in Westland are privately owned with the exception of the Okarito Campground which is owned by the Department of Conservation.

None are owned by Council.
