Te Kuha mine application
Tara Forde made this Official Information request to Department of Conservation
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Tara Forde to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Tara Forde
Dear Department of Conservation,
I sent an Official Information Act Request on 06.03.15 by email, and received a response on 20.04.15 from Dene Robinson, Director Administration in the Hokitika District Office. This email is a follow on from that request.
I refer to the Meeting Paper for West Coast Tai Poutini Conservation Board held on 15th July 2014. This Meeting Paper makes two references to Rangatira Developments Limited and their proposed Te Kuha mine.
Under the Official Information Act, I ask to be supplied with the two existing applications that Rangatira Developments Limited have made to the Department of Conservation to develop Te Kuha. These applications are referenced in the Meeting Paper for West Coast Tai Poutini Conservation Board held on 15th July under Mining Permissions Summary.
Under Concessions Permissions Summary, the Meeting Paper discusses Rangatira Development Limited application for an easement and operating a road. Under the Official Information Act, I request to see all applications related to this. The Meeting Paper also discusses a “larger mining proposal that has been received under the Crown Minerals Act”. Under the Official Information Act, I request to see all and any details and applications related to this proposal.
Thanks
Yours faithfully,
Tara Forde
