We refer to your request made under the Official Information Act 1982 on 7 April 2024, copied below.

The Official Information Act 1982 requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the day that we received your request.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet the timeframe on this occasion. This is largely because of the consultations necessary to conclude making a decision on your request. In addition, your request has involved searching a large volume of information across multiple systems. We are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time limits under section 15A(1)(a) and (b) of the OIA 1982, to 18 June 2024 at the latest. Despite this, we will send our response to you as soon as practicable.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman regarding this extension. Information about how to make a complaint is available at http://www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/ or by phoning 0800 802 602.
