Dear Victoria University of Wellington,

I would like to submit and OIA request under the official information Act 1982 regarding the student’s Association at VUW (VUWSA). I request the following:

- A list of all sponsorships and affiliations VUWSA has agreed to in 2024
- Whether VUWSA or the sponsor/affilate made first contact
- All correspondence including but not limited to emails and letters between VUWSA and each sponsor/affiliate
- All documents related to the sponsorship/affiliation including agreements/contracts.
- The value of each sponsorship and affiliation monetary or otherwise
- What consideration was given to the harmful effects of any of the product/services that VUWSA is promoting to the student population in particular first year students via the sponsorship/affiliation and what criteria and/or frameworks were used to assess the risk of promotion.

As per section 15 of the act, I expect a response within 20 working days, that date is Friday 22nd of March 2024.

Under section 28(3) of the Act, I have the right to ask the ombudsman’s to review any decisions made under This request.
