Annual Report of the Ministry for Ethnic Communities 2022/23
john luke made this Official Information request to Ministry for Ethnic Communities
The request was successful.
From: john luke
Dear Ministry for Ethnic Communities,
I noted,
https://www.ethniccommunities.govt.nz/re...
We have managed a database of 245 highly qualified individuals identified
from our ethnic communities. The number of nominations has increased from
117 in the last year (2021/22) to 239 this year (2022/23), which is a significant
improvement.
The Ministry also made 17 endorsements for appointing ethnic candidates to
165 public sector board and committee roles.
Can you please kindly listed the name of positions you have nominated your qualified individuals to. In your status, "239 this year (2022/23)”,do you included nominated multiple individuals to one positions or you have only nominated one person per positions?
Can you also provide the name of positions you have sent endorsements to.
Also, may I kindly ask what is difference to nomination and endorsement? Who sign off the endorsement and who sign off the nomination?
Do you have the status of how many qualified individuals have successfully appointed at the end? if so, how many.
Yours faithfully,
john luke
